Speaking of Begging...

Speaking of Begging....we would really like it if you would GIVE US FIVE DOLLARS. Yeah, yeah, I know you must think we are horrible, but... well.... that's besides the point. Horrible, despicable people or not, the fact remains that losing that fiver isn't going to hurt you in the least and it will absolutely make OUR day! Please Please Please?

Okay. How about a joke. You'd pay a fiver for a great joke, wouldn't you?

Okay, here goes...

One day Roy Rogers put his new shoes next to the stove so they would be all toasty warm and went to bed. The next morning he came downstairs to find his new shoes all torn to shreds, and praire cat paw prints all over the floor. He saddled up Trigger, and went hunting for this terrible beast that had all but eaten his new shoes. Long about noon he got tired of looking, and settled down under a tall praire tree for a nap. Suddenly, he felt something nibbling on the toes of his old boots, and woke to find that dreaded praire beast sampling his shoe leather! He jumped up and shot the praire cat dead! He threw the carcass over Trigger's back and rode triumphantly home. Dale saw him coming, grabbed her guitar and met him at the gate. "Pardon me Roy," she sang, "Is that the cat that chewed your new shoes?"

?????What do you mean, you don't get it????? Geesh. Okay, your boss'll 'splain it to ya. And if the boss doesn't know, your grandfather will. Hey, bet you're not bored now, huh?
